The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding business in the Company’s current travel client portfolios including, but not limited to tour operators, airlines, cruise operators and tourist boards. This person will report directly to our Head of Sales and provide support in defining and delivering the overall sales strategy.

  • Driven to consultatively sell Travelzoo’s portfolio of online distribution solutions to key advertisers
  • Capable of creating strategic territory plans to efficiently maximize sales opportunities
  • Able to establish strong internal relationships with key production and publishing stakeholders
  • Responsible to track the sales activity through the funnel in Salesforce
  • Empowered by working with colleagues in Europe and the US to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged, and the very best content is secured
  • Dedicated to representing Travelzoo at industry events
  • Able to partner other sales managers to share best practises, key business insights and industry trends
  • Capable of developing new strategies and implement new initiatives that contribute towards achieving personal and company targets



You are ideally…


  • Degree educated (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Management, Business, or Hospitality)
  • A rising professional with 7-10 years of experience as Sales Manager in the travel industry, ideally in the field of media / advertising selling
  • A high-performance thinker with a strong work ethic and sound judgement
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Used to working in a fast paced, high growth work environment
  • A strong negotiator with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • An analytical thinker who can plan, develop, and execute successful online sales strategies
  • Knowledgeable of the online travel / media publishing industry
  • Able to achieve results while working independently
  • A hands-on team player with a self-starter attitude
  • Fluent in English
