The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new business as well as managing existing accounts to drive the number of local deals published.

  • Keen to team with Producers and Publishers on outbound lead generation activities by providing knowledge and insights into prospective merchants’ businesses
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of client and member satisfaction


You are ideally…


  • Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
  • Experienced in dealing with restaurants, spas, and other small businesses
  • Holder of a full UK driving licence and willing to travel
  • Passionate about cold-calling and hunting
  • A professional with a proven track record in developing and closing sales
  • An excellent networker with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A commercially minded negotiator, comfortable with forecasting revenues
  • Able to achieve results while working independently
  • A skilled CRM user to manage, and plan pipeline
  • A hands-on, goal-oriented team player
  • Flexible to adjust to changing circumstances
