Travelzoo has an opening for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager will position Travelzoo's products as a viable source to leading travel companies across the country. The individual will determine a sales strategy; prepare proposals and presentations for existing and new accounts. He/she will continue to build and maintain relationships, understand the client's business and objectives to execute against. The position works collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

  • Capable of developing successful advertising partnerships with major tourism boards, airlines and  cruise companies.
  • Keen on securing and maintaining the most compelling offers for Travelzoo’s members worldwide
  • Experienced to provide input into account planning with a focus on implementation and delivery, including key recommendations to retain and grow the business
  • Confident to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, through account development and new business.
  • Inspired to work with colleagues globally to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged and the very best content is secured.

 

You are ideally…

 

  • A sales professional with 10 years solid experience with leading travel and/ or media companies in direct sales.
  • Degree educated, preferably in Advertising, Communications or Hospitality
  • A high performer with strong work ethic and sound judgement
  • An excellent communicator with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Able to create, develop, and enhance client relationships
  • Possess proven ability to plan, develop, and execute online sales strategies; meet quarterly goals.
  • Interested and knowledgeable about the digital marketplace and the competitive landscape
