We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager, North AmericaThe Senior Human Resources Manager, North America supports the Global Head of Human Resources with the alignment of the people strategy with the business strategy in North America. Together with the HR team, the Senior Human Resources Manager ensures that all global HR initiatives are implemented on a local level. This role reports to the Global Head of Human Resources and has potential to develop into a HR team leader role.

  • Feel excited to provide full-cycle HR support to our North American employees in accordance with Travelzoo’s values of people leadership: Leading by example, Warm heart, Cool head, Working hands 
  • Rate yourself experienced enough in talent identification to ensure the talent and recruitment strategy is reviewed and set up to hire the best talent in the market 
  • Welcome taking the lead on strategic HR projects for North America in close collaboration with the Global Head of Human Resources and the Chairman 
  • Have valid experience to support the senior management team in all employee relations matters 
  • Want to develop yourself to a potential team leader and function as a deputy for the Global Head of Human Resources in North America 
  • Feel intrigued by working in a global team and implementing global HR projects on a local level as part of the “Global People Strategy” 
  • Feel motivated to work with the Global Head of Human Resources to set and achieve key performance goals (KPIs) in line with Travelzoo’s strategy 
  • Welcome the chance to collaborate closely with the Head of Human Resources, Europe to align HR duties across all geographical regions 
  • Set high standards for yourself and feel it is vital to ensure operational excellence in all HR tasks 
  • Have experience in recruiting senior management and are excited to bring this knowledge into this role 
  • Feel coaching is a very important HR tool and are you able to provide coaching to employees and managers where necessary 
  • Continuously stay updated on legal topics and compliance 
  • See yourself as being a role model by supporting the development of a healthy internal culture that retains key employees and encourages their professional development 
  • Ensure that all activities are consistent with and support the global direction of the brand 
  • Describe yourself as someone that champions innovation across the business 
  • Feel excited to work with global colleagues of other functions on global initiatives 


You are ideally… 

  • Passionate to drive a company’s success through its talent

  • An excellent internal & external communicator 
  • Determined to achieve results while working independently  
  • Knowledgeable of the online travel / media publishing industry 
  • A true hands-on team player with a self-starter attitude 
  • Holding an MBA in Human Resources or have a similar education
