Travelzoo has an opening for a Sales Manager. This is an experienced role with the responsibility of positioning Travelzoo's products as a viable advertising source to high-quality entertainment and leisure companies.

The Sales Manager is essential in securing the entertainment deals our members love by collaborating with entertainment and leisure companies to understand their objectives and optimize the value of our partnership. Serving as the day to day liaison with our entertainment partners, and cross-functional teams like, production and operations, success in this position will come from developing deep partnerships that result in outstanding deals for our valued members.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Generate leads for entertainment deals which will meet Travelzoo standards and delight members
  • Build and foster relationships with potential clients to introduce Travelzoo advertising solutions
  • Develop successful advertising sales partnerships
  • Campaign on behalf of Travelzoo’s 28 million members worldwide to source the very best deals
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, through account development and new business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Required
  • 5+ years’ of direct entertainment or sports sales experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance client relationships
  • Proven track record translating sales objectives into results for advertisers
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills, attention to detail, strong influencing skills
  • Must have strong understanding of digital marketplace and the competitive landscape
  • Ability to travel on company business, attend client functions and professionally represent Travelzoo
